I just love spring time. The weather is starting to heat up which means day trips to the beach. The flowers are in bloom and baby animals can be seen everywhere.
There is a lot to do during the spring time here in Australia, picnics, whale watching, flower festivals and loads of yummy food to eat at the markets.
The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is a great way for the family to spend a day out, watch the street parade, enjoy the food and wine or take the kids to sideshow alley for games and rides there is something for the whole family to enjoy.
Spring also means it’s time for the Brisbane Festival, running for the majority of September the program is filled with amazing events of music, dance, theatre and more plus the extremely popular Sunsuper Riverfire. The whole city comes alive in a magical way that just can’t be missed.
Spring is the time for gatherings and parties, get togethers with friends and family. Why not have a spring garden party or a big day out at a local park. With the warming weather comes some days when the heat can rise and the need for shade is so important. We have a cantilever umbrella in our entertaining area that is great for keeping guests cool. Its so simple to set up that you can do it on your own. It allows you more freedom as the post rotates 360 degrees, and tilts back towards the pole to give you different angles of shade.
Over the warmer months I use our cantilever umbrella a lot for our kids to play under. From skipping making a hopscotch course or even just spending the day outside colouring in or eating lunch. It also provides the perfect amount of shade for a splash pool, which keeps the kids busy for hours. A great way to spend some time with the kids sitting back and relaxing while knowing they are safe from the sun and no need to stress about the water washing the sunscreen off.
So how will you spend your spring season this year?
