Thimble
Thimbles are used to form a loop at the end of wire to put a saddle, d-shackle, turnbuckle, etc through them. The wire is generally fed through a swage then it goes around the thimble and back through the swage, which in turn is closed tight using a swaging tool to give a neat finish.
